If it's a clean install it may work first the time you activate the cheats as it did for me but I can reproduce the problem every time by simply having the trainer activated. I activated the trainer at the main menu and played story mode, sector 1, planet 1 without any cheats activated and had no issues. This morning I started playing a clean install of the game. But nothing moves, nothing is built, energy is frozen, creeper is frozen. You can still click on things, place things to build, etc. As soon as the base lands the game will sort of freeze up.
